In silent memorial to all victims, those who are missing and the bereaved

It seems like the world has held it’s breath for a moment on 26th December 2004. It was increadible for all of us for what has happened and we all had to be helpless witnesses seeing people loosing their lifes.

We lament people out of all parts of the world who died due to the seaquake on 26^th December 2004 and those who are missing until now. 

We have seen again, how perishably men’s life can be. We should have learned to behave more understandingly, more lovingly, more respectfully and more honestly to eachother. Only a few of us take theses values in the present world as beeing true. We should change that.

The deceased should rest in peace und the living should live in peace.

The ones who need our help should get our help and we should not gain profit out of their mourning.

The ones who survived the disaster should get our help without any might poker.

Life is not a business but it is a present which is limited for all of us. It should be our aim to fill our life with sense.

 Words and deeds can be like a dagger which is able to hurt or even distroy our life and this should not be anybody’s intention.

Peace and calmness shouldn’t start only with our death. We, the ones who had to see you loosing your lives, should remember the real values in order to leave a human memorial for the victims.

In silent mourning and for a last lovingly salutation, on beahalf of all who wants to join these words and the Flut-/Katastrophenhilfe Deutschland e.V.
